Faded Shapes

The Logo

The logo is the main symbol of The Atlantic Muse as it represents more than what the eye can see.

The dividing line between "Atlantic" and "Muse" acts as a balacing beam for the art of Atlantic Canada and its performing canvas, which is The Atlantic Muse. The fountainhead on top of the beam represents literature and the paint splatter symbolises visual art. The splatter forms the shape of a semi-flower as it showcases how art can "paint a picture".

The pink hue delivers a sense of harmony, peace, and compassion in contrast to the black which refers to stength, sophistication, and elegance.

These elements all come together to represent the values of The Atlantic Muse and its dedication to presenting the vibrant palette of Atlantic Canada.

"Art is not what you see, but what you make others see."
-Edgar Degas
